The King Of Fighters XV Cross-Play Update Launching June 20

SNK has announced that The King of Fighters XV Cross-Play update is launching on June 20, 2023 alongside free DLC character, Goenitz.

The update will allow full cross-platform play between all versions of The King of Fighters XV, covering PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. This means that if you’re playing on PlayStation formats, you won’t be limited to matching up with other players on those consoles; you could end up getting into a ruck with someone on Xbox.

The King of Fighters XV was released in February 2022 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The King of Fighters XV launched with 39 playable characters, which equals 13 teams made up of three fighters each. SNK has been keeping the game ticking over since launch with various paid DLC characters: Season 1 had 12 character, while Season 2 is comprised of six additional characters, two of which have yet to be revealed.
