When Ubisoft Montpellier first revealed Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown, there were plenty of players who were disappointed to see this, and not the Sands Of Time remake, or a different 3D title from the series.
However, today’s gameplay deep-dive featured during the Ubisoft Forward 2023 event revealed that the team behind two of the best 2D platformers in recent memory (Rayman Legends & Rayman Origins) were not to be underestimated.
Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown game director Mounir Radi stepped onstage to walk viewers through the gameplay being featured, showcasing the return of time powers, and some of Sargon’s incredible skills with his two blades and bows.
Radi also spoke a little more about the game’s story, and we got to see an animated trailer ahead of the gameplay that shows just how action-packed The Lost Crown can feel.
