Lies Of P seems to have had its release date leak out early, thanks to Amazon Japan listing the title ahead of the Summer Games Fest show later today, where it’s also expected to have a new trailer showcased.
According to Amazon Japan, Lies Of P will launch on September 19, 2023, which is a bit of a delay compared to the last update we got, which confirmed that it would be arriving sometime in August 2023.
The Pinocchio-centered Soulslike has been an attractive title for everyone who remains waiting for a Bloodborne remake or sequel announcement.
Its visual aesthetic and the gameplay previously shown definitely give off similar vibes, even if you’re not exactly hunting beasts, so much as you’re fighting Victorian-looking robotic monstrosities.
Of course, whether it can stand up to the Bloodborne comparison is another thing entirely.
Summer Games Fest begins later today, and will feature trailers and announcements for a bevy of games, including the gameplay premiere for the recently revealed Mortal Kombat 1.
