In yet another brief update posted on Twitter, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth developer Square Enix has revealed that more info on the highly anticipated PS5 sequel will be announced soon.
There’s not much to go on, with creative director Tetsuya Nomura only saying that ‘more information will be revealed soon.’
Square Enix has been revealing new tidbits on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for the past week or so on Twitter. Recently, the studio confirmed that in addition to a new soundtrack, it’ll also include remixed music from FFVII Remake. Meanwhile, the game’s battle system will allow you to cooperate with team members in new ways, and players won’t need to have played the game’s predecessor to enjoy Rebirth.
Crucially, the game’s development is progressing smoothly and the team are in the process of nailing down a release date. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is scheduled for release in Winter 2023 for PS5.
