Ghost Of Tsushima Movie Director Looking At Ways To ‘Leave It Open To Expand Further’

Ghost of Tsushima movie director Chad Stahelski has revealed he’s exploring ways to “leave [the film] open to expand further from there.”

Speaking with Comic Book to promote the Bluy-ray release of John Wick: Chapter 4, Stahelski heaped praise on the original game, stating “we know we have great material. It’s just how do I pack that much information into a feature that can go on to other features or a TV project or platform for that.”

How do we make a great two, two and a half hour movie out of thiss? Make it satisfying and leave it open to expand further from there, like that’s the real challenge.

Elsewhere, Stahelski revealed that the Ghost of Tsushima movie is in “heavy development,” and that its story and characters are “definitely something [he doesn’t] want to lose in any way.”

While no details on the cast have been revealed yet, Bullet Train star Andrew Koji said last year that he’s interested in featuring in the movie, and is a massive gamer to boot.
