Insomniac Games has announced on Twitter that it has no plans for a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 demo.
The studio was asked by a fan if there were any plans to allow players to sample the game ahead of release, but simply replied, “no plans for a demo!” Whether or not the press will have a chance to go hands-on with the game ahead of launch is another subject entirely.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 preorders are now available at various retailers in the US and UK, although the Collector’s Edition is exclusive to PlayStation Direct. Unfortunately, the suits that are available as part of the Digital Deluxe version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 cannot be earned any other way, so you have to buy this edition to get them.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for release on October 20, 2023 for PS5. The game features both Peter Parker and Miles Morales teaming up to take down villains Kraven the Hunter and Venom, and players are able to switch between both Spider-Men during gameplay.
