Knuckles TV Series Adds Christopher Lloyd, Cary Elwes As Production Kicks Off In London

Deadline is reported that the Knuckles TV series has swelled its cast with five new actors, among which includes Back to the Future legend Christopher Lloyd.

While the characters they will be playing are being kept under wraps, the site ports that Lloyd will be joined by Cary Elwes, Stockard Channing, Paul Scheer, and Rob Huebel. Returning from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is Idris Ilba as Knuckles and Adam Pally as Wade Whipple. In addition to the above, the Knuckles TV series will feature Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi, and Ellie Taylor.

The series will take place between the Sonic 2 & 3 movies, and sees Knuckles taking on Whipple as his protege, training him in the ways of the Echidna warriors. The Knuckles series is currently in production in London and will air on Paramount Plus.

The third Sonic the Hedgehog movie is set to launch in December 2024, although details on the film are pretty thin on the ground. It’s currently unknown if Jim Carry will return as Dr. Robotnik, although the rest of the cast are expected to return.
